Divide and metamorphosis



Animals that reproduce by splitting themselves generally occur in single-celled animals (protozoa).

Metamorphosis is a step change in shape experienced by animals to become adults. Metamorphosis there are two groups, namely the metamorphosis perfect and imperfect. Examples metamorphosis is frogs and butterflies, while incomplete metamorphosis is crickets and grasshoppers.

Complete metamorphosis
a. Butterfly metamorphosis. Egg - caterpillar - cocoon - butterfly.
b. Frog metamorphosis. Egg - tadpole - legged tadpoles - tailed frog - adult frogs.
c. Metamorphosis mosquitoes. Egg - larva - pupa - adult mosquitoes.

Incomplete metamorphosis
a. Metamorphosis crickets. Eggs - young crickets - crickets adults.
b. Metamorphosis locusts. Eggs - young grasshopper - adult locusts.
