Skin



Skin is the sense of touch. As the sense of touch, the skin duty to receive stimulation. The skin layer scattered with nerve endings tactile. Tactile nerve endings are also found on the wall of the tools in, for example, the intestinal wall. Therefore, we can feel the pain or pain in these tools. With the help of the skin, we can feel and distinguish between coarse, smooth, blunt, pointed, hot, warm, cold, and soft. In addition to a sense of touch, the skin also serves as a protective body, regulating body temperature, a perspiration, and keep the ingress of dirt or germs into the body.

Our skin consists of two parts, namely:
a. Ari layer. Epidermis is the thin layer of skin and is composed of cells that some still alive and some dead. In the epidermis there are blood vessels, sweat glands, and nerve endings.
b. Hides layer is part of a thick skin. At this hides a layer of hairs on our skin rooted. The skin is the most sensitive to stimuli lips and fingertips.
