Electrical energy

Electrical energy can be transformed into:
a. Heat, for example, electric irons, electric cookers and electric soldering
b. Can cause the magnet, for example, juxtaposed compass needle electrified wire
c. Can cause light, eg fluorescent lamp and incandescent lamps
d. Energy of motion, for example an electric motor, an electric drill, and a fan
e. Sound, for example an electric buzzer, radio and television.

In 1819, a Danish scientist named Hans Christian Oersted discovered that magnetism can be affected by electrical current. Liliti an iron nail with copper wire. Stream electric current in the wire. The spikes turned out to be magnetic. Magnets are created by passing an electric current through a coil of wire is referred to as an electric magnet or electromagnet. Electromagnet temporary. When the flow of electric current is turned off, then the nature of magnetism will be lost.

Michael Faraday discovered that magnets which can cause an electric current is driven. Winding wire called coils. With a coil and magnet we can create an electrical current. Insert and remove the magnet repeatedly in the coil, we will see the electric current on ammeters. Electric currents can also occur by moving the coil.
