Understanding tongue



The tongue is the sense of taste. Taster nerve endings located in the section berbintil-nodule. These nerve endings scattered across the surface of the tongue. We can feel a sense of sweet, salty, sour, and bitter with the help of a pimple tongue. Our sense of taste can be impaired for some time if we were still hot drink or eat too much chili.
Duties and functions of the tongue are as follows:
a. Pronounce words. Therefore, the tongue can be driven in various forms and attitudes in order to pronounce various words and sounds
b. Role in taking, eating, and smoothes the food with the mucous membrane covering the tongue.

Sensory functions supported by the sense of taste or smell. Therefore, when it is cold we can not enjoy a delicious meal.
